The evening standard have claimed Tottenham midfielder Oliver Skipp is open to another club loan for the coming season.

Skipp had an outstanding campaign on loan at Norwich last season, playing a valuable role in the club’s road to the league title.

The midfielder’s mature performances at Carrow Road have some Spurs fans excited about what’s to come for the 20-year-old this season.

The Tottenham academy graduate has continued to impress in the preseason and hopes to secure a steady run in Tottenham’s starting XI under Nuno Espirito Santo.

The Evening Standard have now claimed that Skipp is desperate to continue playing football regularly after returning from Carrow Road.

The youngster is even said to be ready to be loaned out to ensure he has regular playing time.

The report adds that England manager Gareth Southgate is also a fan of the England Under-21 international.

Spurs web opinion

While it’s hard to read too much in the preseason, Nuno seems to trust Skipp. I expect the 20-year-old to start alongside Hojbjerg against Manchester City on Sunday. I would be extremely surprised if Tottenham charge Skipp even if we sign another central midfielder before the window closes.
